RIMS-PRO System

Anyone interested in high quality brewing is also interested in repeatability. Small batch brewing is loaded with variables that occur during the process. Mis-handling of the wort causes off-flavors, temperature fluctuation causes inconsistency, heated surfaces cause caramelization. Then there is hot side aeration, poor sanitation from un-cleanable bacteria traps – among other problems.

The more of these variables that you can eliminate, the better your product and the more repeatable you become. Every brewer wants to be able to make the same recipe the same way. Sounds easy but it certainly is not. To date, there isn’t one small-batch brewing system that has done a better job of eliminating variables than SABCO’s Brew-Magic System. Though the above brewing design does not include the sophisticated and automated temperature controls of the Brew-Magic, you will enjoy the exact same kettle design and be able to incorporate Brew-Magic’s amazing RIMS ( recirculating infusion mash system ) methodology.   When you’re ready to add Brew-Magic quality temperature control,  it’s as easy as adding SABCO’s famous RIMS-WIZARD.  Be sure to put this on your future wish list.

The RIMS-PRO Brewery layout shown in the attached diagram,  is easily assembled, and incorporates much of the Brew-Magic methodologies, many of its high quality parts and all of SABCO’s high quality production techniques.  Like the Brew-Magic, the RIMS-PRO layout uses one pump and requires that the boil kettle on the left be tiered at a lower level so that gravity may be used to drain wort from the mash to the boil. (See attached drawing)  The single pump is used to circulate wort to and from the mash,  and also to move water from the HLT (hot liquor tank) on the right to the mash kettle for sparging.  If you prefer to keep all three kettles at the same height as seen in the photo,  just add a 2nd pump to move wort from the mash into the boil during the sparge operation.   All of the numbered parts in the following table are included with this great brewery.  These items can be ordered separately by clicking on each item below, however if you order the entire system as you see it listed, you’ll receive free shipping anywhere in the continental USA (48 states).
